My Husband and I fell in love with Amstaffs after seeing a litter advertised back in 2004.
We had owned pitbulls before and wanted to get another one until we saw an Amstaff litter advertised.
We contacted the breeder and decided we would get our 1st amstaff.
We got "Spike" in 2004 from Envyamstaff Kennels.
He was a nearly pure white boy with black spots.
We loved him to bits and became really good friends with Nichole & Murray from Envyamstaff Kennels.
We then wanted to get into showing, and decided to get another amstaff to start showing as we found out that with Spike being more than 80% white, it was not recommended to show him.
We did enter Spike in a few Ribbon parades but that was it.
We got a beautiful brindle boy "Diesel" from Nichole and Murray to start showing with. Unfortunatley he was taken away from us too early in life.
R.I.P Diesel.
It was a hard decision to get another one but we did which is our boy Cypress. Again from Envyamstaff Kennels. And this is when we started showing
We learnt so much about the breed and met so many people.
It was a lot of hard work but we finally made Cypress a NZ Champion.
We love him to bits and is the moderate type that we prefer. He is an all round perfect boy in our eyes. Beautiful temperment and great with kids and is a much loved part of our family.
Then in 2010 we decided that we would like to start our own kennels "Soulfull Amstaffs" with Cypress being our foundation boy.
We then went back to Nichole and Murray and purchased a beautiful bitch from them "Marley" who will be the foundation bitch for our kennels.
She also has a beautiful nature and is of moderate type.
We think they will complement each other well.
We would like to thank 1st of all Nichole and Murray from Envyamstaff Kennels, who have
helped us since day one of owing an amstaff.
We appreciate all your help and without you, we would not own the beautiful Amstaffs that we do today.
